Trauma makes your work harder; let us help:
A different approach to sustainable workplaces

You might be wondering why two therapists have created a class for HR Professionals and Managers. Well we, Katherine and Maria, aren’t ordinary therapists. We both have long business histories prior to becoming therapists. We are both serial entrepreneurs and in each iteration of our respective careers, we have been the originators of new methods, practices, forging out on our own where others have not yet explored. And that is why we created this course for you, because we know what it’s like in the business world as well as the therapy world, and we have developed tools and methods merged into a specific HR/management lens that will help you and your companies do better.

Trauma training for HR Professionals?

Yes! Where do people spend the second most amount of time (outside of their families)? That’s right – at work. And trauma is playing out all over the place in corporations. We can teach your team immediately deployable skills to balance the energies within the workplace swiftly and effectively.

Why take this course?

The time spent dealing with difficult situations, performance issues, and interpersonal ripples can be exhausting. Burnout is real. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to “see” what else might be afoot with your employee and be able to address it directly in a way that makes both of your jobs easier and more sustainable? We will teach you how to see what we see and leave you with easy, fast, efficient tools to better navigate the day-in and day-out of your workplace.

How will the course make an HR leader better?

By having an efficient lens and excellent tools at your side, nip messy interactions for both you and your employee before things heat up and deplete time and resources.

How will it improve their workplace culture?

Be seen as a true team player, a helper, and maybe even as a “healer” of sorts. Employees thrive when they feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Being able to see them through a more compassionate lens will create a workplace culture where people can exceed expectations.

What problems will it prevent?

You’ll be better prepared from interviews all the way to retirement ceremonies when you can see what else is going on with the human before you. The information and tools you will learn during this training have the potential, when utilized correctly, to prevent burnout, having to terminate employment, or people seeking employment elsewhere, all of which are costly for the company.

What teaming does it make easier?

Understanding the underlying mechanisms of human behavior allows everyone to better see each other and work together. So often conflict arises from someone’s interpretation of someone else’s behavior, not just from the behavior itself. Through sharing what you will learn in this training, everyone will have the knowledge and tools to work more cooperatively.
